Itinerary

DAY 1Welcome to Delhi
On arrival at Indira Gandhi international airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative and start with the information about the trip while checking you into a hotel to acclimatise to the atmosphere. You can also explore the local markets, but make sure to get enough rest to be prepared for the journey ahead.
Early in the morning we will leave for Kalimpong (3–4 hours). En route, enjoy the scenic hills and lush greenery of North Bengal. Check in at the hotel and relax amidst the serene surroundings. Evening at leisure to unwind. Overnight at the hotel.
Start the day with a visit to the Flower Nurseries, famous for exotic orchids and vibrant floral displays, followed by Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang, a cultural site reflecting the town’s Buddhist heritage. After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (3 hours, 85 km), the capital of Sikkim. Evening free to explore MG Marg or the local market. Overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

After breakfast, drive to Pelling (5–6 hours, 116 km), a small town known for its stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range. The journey offers scenic views of terraced fields, river valleys, and Himalayan peaks. Evening at leisure to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Overnight at the hotel in Pelling.

Visit Khecheopalri Lake (6,000 ft / 1,829 m), a sacred Buddhist lake believed to grant wishes, surrounded by pristine forest. Return to the hotel for lunch, then explore Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim’s oldest monasteries dating back to the 17th century. Visit the Rabdentse Palace ruins, the former second capital of Sikkim, for a glimpse of history amidst panoramic views of the mountains. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive to Darjeeling (5–6 hours, 125 km), the “Queen of the Hills.” In the evening, enjoy a walking tour of Mall Road, Observatory Hill, and Mahakal Temple. Soak in the colonial charm, vibrant markets, and Himalayan ambiance. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Optional early morning visit to Tiger Hill at 4:00 AM (subject to weather and coupon availability) for sunrise over Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. Stop en route at Ghoom Monastery
Post breakfast, visit:
Lunch at Glenary’s Restaurant (on direct payment). Evening at leisure in Darjeeling. Overnight at the hotel.

Note: Tiger Hill visit is subject to availability of morning access coupons. In case of non-availability, the visit will be arranged after breakfast.

After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (3–4 hours, 100 km) from where you can go for sightseeing and enjoy a peaceful stay.
After breakfast we will leave for our final stop, Delhi, from where you can go for your onwards journey with the beautiful memories of the trip.
