Itinerary

DAY 1 Welcome to Delhi

On arrival at Indira Gandhi international airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative and start with the information about the trip while checking you into a hotel to acclimatise to the atmosphere. You can also explore the local markets, but make sure to get enough rest to be prepared for the journey ahead.

DAY 2 Arrival at Leh Airport (IXL)

In the morning, we will leave for Leh. After reaching Leh airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. You will spend the day in the hotel resting and acclimatising while drinking plenty of water.

DAY 3 Leh Sightseeing

Explore Leh and its surrounding cultural gems. Drive along the Leh–Manali Highway to visit Hemis Monastery, a major Buddhist center known for its festivals, rare artifacts, and rich history. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, often called the “Mini Potala,” perched on a hilltop with stunning architecture and spiritual significance. Visit Shey Palace, the 17th-century summer residence of Ladakhi royalty overlooking the Indus Valley.

DAY 4 Drive to Uley/Rumbak Valleys

Once you have had breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Uley Rumbak Valley, taking 2–3 hours to Uley and another 1–1.5 hours to Rumbak. On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a short walk around the village with your guide, familiarising yourself with the terrain where the elusive Snow Leopard roams. Overnight stay at Uley/Rumbak.

DAY 5 Snow Leopard Spotting in Uley / Rumbak

Another day in the Uley/Rumbak region dedicated to Snow Leopard spotting. Depending on the spotters’ findings from the morning, you may trek through varied terrain, observe wildlife behaviour, and capture breathtaking photographs. Return to your lodge in the evening and unwind amidst the serene Himalayan landscape. Overnight stay at Uley/Rumbak.

DAY 6 Snow Leopard Safari Continues

Another day in the Uley / Rumbak region dedicated to Snow Leopard spotting. Depending on the spotters’ findings from the morning, you may trek through varied terrain, observe wildlife behavior, and capture breathtaking photographs. Return to your lodge in the evening and unwind amidst the serene Himalayan landscape. Overnight stay at Uley / Rumbak.

DAY 7 Return to Leh

After breakfast, drive back to Leh. The rest of the day is free to relax, enjoy the town, or revisit favourite spots such as Leh Market or Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay in Leh.

DAY 8 Departure from Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport. After taking a plane from Leh to Delhi airport, you will continue your journey, thinking back on an incredible Himalayan experience full of natural wonders, wildlife, and culture.
