That is why we invite you on a 23-day tour of Gujarat, India’s western jewel, a destination that will surely stir your soul. You’ll pay homage at Sabarmati Asharam, where Mahatma Gandhi shaped his vision, explore the ancient Indus Valley excavation sites, and admire the Indo-Saracenic architecture of the temples and palaces. Experience the thrill of encountering Asiatic lions at Sasan Gir and witness the ethereal glow of the Rann of Kutch under the moon. This journey immerses you in history, culture, and spirit, revealing the colours of Gujarat through experiences that remain vivid in your memories.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Welcome to Mumbai
On your very first day of this trip our representatives will welcome you to Mumbai. They will provide you with the details of this trip, proceed with documentation and check you into the hotel to rest and acclimate to the surroundings. It is your choice to explore the local market or explore the authentic cuisine of the city, but make sure that you are well rested for a day of exploration ahead.
Early in the morning we will head to Ahmedabad, India’s First World Heritage city, via Air. Once we arrive, we’ll check you into a hotel and head out. To give you a full-blown Indian experience, we will start our exploration on our three-wheeled buddy, the autorickshaw, to Jagannath Temple. This temple is dedicated to lord Krishna, and you will get to witness various Hindu traditions and rituals. There is a local wholesale flower market that bustles with trades from 4 am to 8 am, where there are numerous varieties of flowers. After that we will visit the Saptrishi crematorium to get some insights on Hindu cremation rituals for salvation.

Leaving the crowd behind, we will go on a cycle ride along the peaceful stretch of Sabarmati riverfront and visit the Gandhi Asharam, more popularly known as Satyagrah Asharam. It was once the nerve centre of the freedom movement. We will also get to see the quarters in Hridaya Kunj where Mahatma Gandhi lived a simple life. It is preserved in its original state as a national monument. In the evening you can explore the market, enjoy the sunset views, or go for a boat ride. Having spent the day sightseeing, the night is yours to dine and unwind.

After the early morning refreshments, take a heritage walk to Swaminarayan temple, which is the architectural crown of the city. Wander through the labyrinthine lanes of poles leading to Jama Masjid. Visit Sidi Saiyyed Masjid to see its stone-carved jalis.
With breakfast behind us, the journey to Jambughoda begins. In detour of Vadodara, the historical elements will surely sweep you off your feet. The Indo-Saracenic architecture will greet you with its elaborate interiors, sprawling courtyards, and artistic treasures.
As the sun sets, we will reach the enclave of Jambughoda and settle into the comfort of your hotel. After the journey, it’s time for dinner and a kip.
You start your day early in the morning with an adventurous trek into the forest to delve into the wilderness. You make you connect even more with nature; our experienced guides will teach you survival skills. In this trek we will get to witness the prehistoric era in the form of rock paintings that depict mythological and real stories of Jambughoda while giving you a peek into its art. After that we will get a break to have lunch in the same tranquil setting.
Post lunch, continue to explore the forest in a gypsy safari where you can see Sloth bears busy with their daily activities in their natural habitat. After making the most of the day, the night brings rest.
Kevadiya is known for the statue of unity, the world’s tallest statue, which we are going to see. After a hearty breakfast we will travel to Kevadiya, which is a one-and-a-half-hour drive. When you reach there, we will check you into the hotel where you can freshen up for the day of exploration.

The Statue of unity is a 182 meters tall statue of an esteemed freedom fighter, Bharat Ratna Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The statue overlooks the majestic sardar Sarovar dam which you can admire. As the sun sets, the laser show will begin with the narration of his story. Following a day of travel and exploration, it will be time to unwind.

Following breakfast, the journey resumes to Velavadar. Stop at Lothal, which was known to be a thriving trade centre over 4000 years ago with its trade of beads, gems and valuable ornaments. When we reach Velavadar, you check into your hotel to freshen up, have dinner and call it a night in the ambience of Velavadar.

Once breakfast is done, we will promise you a nature-filled adventurous day. Venture into the forested area to observe the wildlife in its rawest form. Velavadar has the largest population of blackbucks in India and has a variety of bird species putting on a show in the sky. You will also find Nilgai here, which is a bovine animal with a bare resemblance to a cross of cow and horse. After that we will travel to Bhavnagar to check in to a hotel and enjoy your dinner and a delightful night.

Early in the morning you will begin your short journey to palitana. It is known for its spiritual significance and excellent architecture, home to the famed Shatrunjaya hill, which is the holiest pilgrim site for the followers of Jainism. It has over 900 temples dating back many centuries. As you climb this hill, See the pilgrims and fellow visitors on this spiritual and physical journey.
After lunch we will drive to Junagadh to check in to a comfortable hotel there. After a long day, you’ll enjoy a well-earned dinner and rest for the night.
You start to enrich your heart with the spirituality of Girnar hill early in the morning. You will ascend 10,000 steps to the summit. This journey of enlightenment will get you to the ancient temples, caves, and vistas to soak in spiritual energy. Head back down and visit the yellow mausoleum, Mahabat Maqbara. It is a masterpiece that features designed arches, vertical columns, and stone carvings.
Following our time in jamgadh we will begin our journey to the wilderness of Sasan Gir to check into a hotel, have dinner and call it a day.
Early morning and evening gypsy safaris are going to be the highlight of your trip from here. Safari is an incredible way to explore the complete ecosystem of the park, including the protected areas. Here you will see Asiatic lions, leopards, Nilgai, Antelopes, striped hyenas, and many more roaming around you and doing their natural morning and evening activities. Sasan Gir provides you with a memorable experience if you are passionate about wildlife.
After having breakfast, you will depart for Dwarka while en route at Porbandar. Explore Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace; his ancestral house has been converted into a museum. They showcased several artefacts and personal belongings of him and his family.
Upon arrival in Dwarka, we will check you into the hotel and freshen up, and in the evening, you will find bliss at Shivrajpur beach, which is very relaxing. After you have had dinner and rest for the night.
Once you have had your breakfast, you will get on a ferry ride journey to bet Dwarka which is a sacred island known for its historical significance, temple, and other sites associated with Lord Krishna. The rest of the day will be left at your leisure; you can go anywhere you want and enjoy activities like a marina walk, Scuba diving stroll around Gomti Ghat. After a day of sightseeing, you’ll spend a comfortable night in the hotel.
Once breakfast is out of the way, we will depart for the heart of Gujarat, which is Wankaner. It is known for its royal heritage, scenic vistas, and regal palaces, where you can admire the intricate architectural work. You can indulge in the luxurious retreat at Royal Oasis; it is a heritage hotel with modern amenities so that you can immerse yourself in the old-world charm of Wankaner.
Once the morning repast is done, we will start the journey to the captivating city of Bhuj. We will check you into the hotel, and then you can explore the rich cultural tapestry that defines the vibrance of the destination. You will go to Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal. Prag mahal is in a forlorn state, damaged by an earthquake but still admired for its grand Darbar hall with glittering chandeliers and taxidermised collection.
After having breakfast, we will go to the handicraft village where you will get insights on some of the oldest traditional crafts of India and life in rural areas. Witness:
This would be the perfect time to get souvenirs for your friends and family. In the evening, we will head back to Bhuj, and you will be free to explore the local market and call it a day.
We will start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Mandvi. When we reach there, we will first check you into a hotel, freshen up and head out for our adventures of the day. Our first stop will be at Vijay Vilas Palace. It is a stunning seafront palace that beautifully showcases the Grandeur of Kutch Royalty. You can stroll through the halls and admire the intricate architecture and old-world charm. Later we will go to the private beach of the Palace. Watch the sunset near the relaxing sea, sounds of calm waves, and golden sand.
Once breakfast is done, we will start our journey to Dhordo Village. As we reach there, we will check you into a hotel and soak in the colourful atmosphere of the Tent City. You can wander through the local Craft Bazaar to see traditional crafts and unique regional artefacts. In the evening, watch the sunset over the white desert as the vast salt plains glow in golden hues. Enjoy the night here with cultural performances and activities that showcase the local heritage and end your day with a delicious dinner and a relaxing stay.
Wake up before the sun and watch the early sunrise at the white desert, a magical sight. Enjoy breakfast before setting off to Dholavari, driving along a scenic route, 35 km of Road to Heaven. When we reach Dholavira, we will check you into a hotel where you can freshen up.
We will visit the Dholavira Excavation Site, one of the grandest cities of the Indus valley civilisation. In the evening, explore Fossil Park and the nearby beach for a mix of nature and history. After a well-spent day, head back to your hotel for dinner and sleep for the night.
After breakfast we will start our journey to the Little Rann of Kutch. upon arrival we will check you into the hotel and take a break for refreshments. Rest of your day will be assigned for a Wild Ass Safari to see the wild asses in their natural habitat along with Chinkara, jackals, desert foxes, nilgais, Indian wolves, and over 75,000 bird nests. You will also get to enjoy the striking landscapes and learn about the salt production.
Your dinner will be back in the hotel where you will rest for the night.

In the morning, we will start our journey from Little Rann of Kutch and head to the Modhera Sun Temple, where you will witness the beautifully carved structure dating back to 1026. The architecture perfectly aligns with the first rays of the sun on the Equinoxes since it is positioned on the tropic of cancer.

After lunch we will visit the Patan Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO world heritage site which was built by Queen Udayamati in memory of Bhimadev I. it was recovered in the 1960s with over 500 god sculptures. Once you admire all those, we will continue to Poshina, a charming village in the Aravalli Range. After reaching there, we will check you into the hotel where you will enjoy dinner and enrich yourself in the tranquil surroundings.
This day is to relax and soak in the charm of Darbargadh Poshina which is a heritage home in the tribal lands of the Aravalli Hills. Here you will get to explore the Adivasi and Garasia Tribal culture of North Gujarat and south Rajasthan while learning about their traditions and different crafts.
You will also enjoy the fresh home-cooked meals prepared with recipes passed through generations and the warm hospitality of a family that ruled Poshina for eight generations before independence.
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast, marking the end of your memorable journey through Gujarat. Head back to Ahmedabad and expect to reach the city by evening. After freshening up, the evening is yours to either rest and relax or take a leisurely stroll around the city, soaking in the final moments of your Gujarat adventure. Spend a comfortable overnight in Ahmedabad.
As per the schedule, we will drop you to Mumbai.
